Introduction

In partnership with UNICEF, FPA is implementing a project for four months from the order (Mobilizing Actions toward Better Community Health for Syrian Refugees), for women and children in the Qushtapa camp, The goal of this project it’s to mobilize and empower Syrian refugees in knowledge and improve behaviors practices major home-related hygiene, health and nutrition, water conservation, by using a mother technique to child, and the child to others as well as to the family in general. and empower sanitation and good health , education through a 60 awareness sessions for women and 45 awareness sessions for children convey awareness , the total of the Beneficiaries from this project is ( 2340 ) from the individuals dwell Qushtapa camp.

Percentage of completion of the project: A full 20% within the schedule of the project.

Project Activities from 3-30 Jan, 2015:

Given health awareness and education for 384 families
Given health education for 58 pregnant woman
Given health awareness and education and hygiene promotion for 120 children in school
Given health awareness and education and hygiene promotion for 40 children out of school
Number of malnutrition, 15 person

FPAO began to develop the program in coordination with DRC and health center in Qushtapa camp to find a mechanism to eliminate the phenomenon of scabies, we are working to give awareness in detail about scabies especially for affected families which numbered approximately only 18 families and their names Code numbers and their tents at the health center in the camp, after coordination with the health center in qushtapa camp, tomorrow 14 January 2015 we work in the whole day to give a brief summary awareness in detail about scabies in a hall inside the health center through Slideshow with distribution a awareness booklet for scabies.

We print scabies awareness booklet where it was distributed by FPA Mobilazer tent after tent.
